Full Time Equivalent Faculty.
Full time faculty loads are considered full time regardless of the number of credits they teach. One can use a formula to determine whether one is fulfilling one’s FTE goal (see page 72 of the HCEA Agreement). However, here is another way to figure out one’s load when scheduling classes: each CAF indicate the percent of faculty load of that particular course. Add up the course percentages. Of course, the actual FTE load can be figured only after the tenth day of the quarter.
