There are two collective bargaining agreements in place at Highline Community College.

The agreement for Highline College Education Association (HCEA) was negotiated between the Board of Trustees who represented the College's administration, and the Highline College Education Association. For details of the agreement see: HCEA.

The collective bargaining agreement for classified employees was entered into between the Board of Trustees of Highline Community College, District IX, and the Washington Public Employees Association (WPEA). To review details of this agreement see: WPEA

The Personnel Resources Board establishes rules for bargaining and the formation of bargaining units. Agency heads should consult with their staff to make sure they have plans for meeting their labor relations objectives. For detailed information see : RCW 41.56 and WAC 356-42
